Singapore Trip: The City

Late post...Again!!! ..and I'm not really a good writer but I love to write, document and share my experiences to you guys. So, please bare with me... anyways,

Ah yes! Singapore! The first international country that has been checked on my list. Some of you might think, "woah? this is your first time?" or "you mean you've never traveled before?" and I say YES! to both questions. Again, I am not a daughter of a rich businessman or public figure. I must admit that I'm just your middle class citizen who works her a** of to earn some money for personal use and for her pleasures in life. I had never expected that I would be able to go outside the country last year. Well, to be honest it wasn't even in my plans but fortunately my friends from Manila invited me to go with them at the Anime Festival Asia 2010 (AFA X). They also wanted to have break/vacation from their work or school in which I really needed at that time.

I even felt more excited when my mom allowed and encouraged me to go to Singapore. She told me that it was a nice country to go to and that she had a blast the last she went there. Anyways, I won't be typing a lot further since I intend to have the pictures (with some captions) do the talking in this entry. So...Yeah! Enjoy!

My ticket for Manila. I'm actually glad to go there.Well, First, I'll be seeing my sister and brother-in-law whom I missed sooooo much and second, I'll be seeing my Manila friends whom I also miss. Last time I saw them was during the last Toycon 2010.

I stayed with my sister for a while and ate lunch with her.

I also met Lyron there! Glad to see you again dood~ Thank you so much for teaching some tips in armor and props making. It was truly helpful. Thanks!

And again thank you so much Lyron for the Squall Dissidia Fig that you gave me!!! I keep on staring at it~ Is that bad???LOL XD

Yay!! Met some of my friends! I miss you guys!

Got my plane ticket and passport for Singapore. I was really excited but scared at the same time. It was my first time to be in an international flight and crazy images rushed into my mind. GAH!!! Too much imagination!@_@ *calms myself*

Finally We've arrived safely at the airport. Ahhh~~ Singapore's breeze.....

bah! It's still like the Philippines~ but cleaner..ahahah XD

On our way to our Hostel. I was getting really hungry and it's 1 am...Yet my sleepiness is overpowering me at that time~ gah~ SLEEP!!! ororoooo =3=

and guess what...

It's in China town!!! and sweet goodness!! This Chinatown has be so far the cleanest one that I've seen. I totally was in awe!!! ( * 3*)/ I love their China town!

So far, Our hostel gives a very different ambiance compared to what we see outside. I'm in Bear Heaven people!!! The Bear Nice Hostel was amazing "beary" nice!!! hahahaha! Oh Dear! I'd love to slap myself for saying that..LOL XD

We've even tried their Wii!!! Kewl of them to have Wii in their living room! SUPAH LIKE!

At last we're complete!! Me with my Manila friends (from the left) Pepz, Andre, Romeo, Yuu, Me, Jess, z3ll, Lo and Nikki. I Miss you guys! You were awesome for accompanying and being with me in Singapore. I will always remember in all my life that my first memorable trip abroad was with awesome friends like you. Thank you!!! \^ 3^ /

After my deep slumber, My friends and I went to AFA X but before I show to you guys some pics during the event. I'll show you first the beauty that is Singapore~

We also tried their train. Here we are entering the Gate thingi where you swipe your EZ transportation card. Pish Posh!!! What do you call that thing again? dratts! Heck that gate thingi! >_<

This is where their train will stop. I want Philippines to have something like this too! gah! @_@ I could ride there forevaaaaah~~~. Just kidding!

Well, almost everywhere I look is a mall or a shopping center actually~ but this is quite cool! X3

This building actually blew me away~ I thought that the thing on top of the 3 buildings was an airplane or a ship . It was actually an Olympic sized swimming pool! @_@ So cool!!!

speaking of durians, here's a durian that is worth eating. It's called the durian pancake.

It's actually a hot pancake wrapped around the cold durian. YUM!!!
